
I came here on work experience, I'm forty now, my family
live here with me, I'll die here, I love gardening.
These words passionately spoken by the senior gardener of a small country
estate in Buckinghamshire echoed in my ears as I strolled around in the
summer sunshine.
The topiary alone, sharp enough to cut paper, seemed to sum it all up
for me.
