
I'm sitting on a rock, facing a panoramic vista of the
Southern Ocean, next landfall is the Antarctic.
The reason for the unique view is the ferrous geology of this spit of
land, a crooked iron finger pointing south accusingly.
Climbing down to the beach, the rocks as large as a man, I am transported
to the moon, a boulder-strewn lunar landscape a very long way from home..
